Profile:
• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma Engineering and/or Operations
• 10 years Automotive manufacturing experience in Supplier Quality (at a minimum of managing suppliers).
• VDA 6.3 Auditor
• Knowledge of press tooling and welding would be advantageous
• Advanced MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task effectively and meet deadlines
• Advanced communication and presentation skills
• Advanced problem-solving skills
• Ability to deal with difficult suppliers using factual information and a logical approach.

Tasks:
Monitor and control the effectiveness of Supplier/Quality Assurance in order for the Company to maintain suppliers who ensure component quality and integrity in order to satisfy the Company and Customer Requirements. This includes:
• Approve PPAP for all purchased parts.
• Coordinate the supplier annual reviews and support Program quality with supplier documentation for new / changed PPAP packages.
• Maintenance of components in master sample store: Relevant / Up to date / Location identified / Labelling on part.
• Attend daily scrap meeting and address any supply issues. Raise QPS rejection notes on SAP where applicable and follow up on status/actions from D3 – D8. Monitor status and audit actions on a regular basis – where possible.
• Monitor the daily split tube status – Review, report and escalate if required.
• Coordinate containment of suspect stock on production lines, and segregation of stock in warehouse, ensuring proper breakpoint identification of good parts. Ensure that the containment worksheets are used correctly and be able to provide status of sorting actions in place.
• Monitor supplier/3rd party sorting activities, ensuring proper breakpoint identification of good parts.
• Updating weekly/monthly management reports on supplier related KPI’s.
• Elevating of 8D delinquent suppliers to ASQ.
• Monitoring of supplier chargebacks and follow up of rejection notes sent to suppliers. Coordinate with  finance team as well.
